2025 National Interpoules : Sable Batié Opens With Victory

The representative of the West Region defeated the flagbearers of the Adamawa Region, Olympique of Meiganga 2-0 in the first Pool A game yesterday in Odza.
The 2025 National Interpoules kicked off yesterday September 1, 2025 at the FECAFOOT Technical Centre in Odza, with Sable of Batié (West Region) securing a convincing 2-0 victory over Olympique of Meiganga (Adamawa Region) in the opening Pool A match. The representative of the West Region demonstrated a commanding performance to earn the first three points of the tournament, to the delight of their passionate supporters.
The competition, which will see 10 teams vying for two promotion spots to the second division, began with a vibrant atmosphere. Sable of Batié’s fan club was highly motivated, filling the stadium with rhythmic drumbeats, songs, and captivating dance steps. After a slow start, Sable of Batié found their rhythm and began to dominate possession. Their efforts were rewarded in the first half when Fifen Abdou broke the deadlock. A jubilant supporter was seen celebrating the goal by parading around the stadium with a live cock.
The second half proved to be even more fruitful for the West Regional side. Just at the 58th minute, Stephane Abada doubled the lead for Sable of Batié, bringing their fans to their feet once more in a thunderous celebration.
