Cameroon-Ewatini : Lions Strategizing

The team had a training session yesterday September 2, 2025 at the Yaounde Military Stadium with a near complete squad.
The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have settled at the Hilton Hotel in Yaounde, preparing with determination ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Eswatini, scheduled for September 4, 2025, at Yaounde Omnisports Stadium. The manner in which most of the players arrived camp was unusual. They were pictured alighting from luxurious vehicles with smiles on their faces, synonymous to comfort and determination. This is the concretization of the partnership agreement signed recently between the Cameroon Football Federation and the car distributor company Sky Motos Company Sarl. This partnership establishes Sky Motors as the official transporter of the Lions at the time they land at the airport to their training base as they respond to national team duties.
By the morning of September 2, 2025, 20 of the 26 selected players had joined the camp, with the remainder expected that evening, according to updates posted on the official Facebook page of the Indomitable Lions. Danny Namaso, Georges Kévin Nkoudou, Arthur Avom, Jackson Tchatchoua and Malcolm Bokele were the first players to join the camp in the wee hours of Monday. Team captain, Vincent Aboubakar, Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting, André Onana, among others, later joined. Late arrivals include Christopher Wooh and Yvan Neyou, who saw their flights shifted due to administrative constraints at club level.
