Inclusive Vocational Training : Yet Another Red Feather For Jeru-Informatik!

The computer and Information Technology training centre last week in Yaounde received the Presidential Prize for Excellence, Innovation and Educational Improvement.
Jeru-Informatik computer and Information Technology, IT training centre has one more been acknowledged for its unrelenting contributions over the years to offering quality professional and vocational skills to Cameroonian youth. On September 3, 2025 in the Yaounde Conference Centre, Cédric Tchana, a physically-challenged person, founder and Director of Jeru-Informatik, received the Presidential Prize for Excellence, Innovation and Educational Improvement. In the category of “Prize for the promotion of universal and inclusive education.”
Organized By Synergies Active
The prize was handed over by Prof. Justine Diffo, Honorary President of the Organizing Committee. The awards were organized by Synergies Active, under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training. Reacting to the award, Cédric Tchana told Cameroon Tribune, “I am full of joy and with gratitude to the Creator and my Lord Jesus for giving me the vision since four years ago, though with limited means. It is an encouragement to continue fighting.”
Trains Able-bodied, Disabled
Jeru-Informatik has trained able-bodied and disabled people, primarily children with Cerebral Palsy, CP, in Information Technology, IT careers and helped them prepare for school examinations. Jeru-Informatik is a training centre in the CQP, DQP and BTS diplomas in IT, management and paramedical fields. Students with Cerebral Palsy, CP have passed their Probatoire A4 Spanish series examination after attending evening classes in Jeru-Informatik. One recently defended her term paper in Graphics Production, coming overall best in her batch.
Multi-talented Computer Engineer, Publisher
Cédric Tchana is a computer engineer, coach, evangelist, writer, psycho-professional supervisor, and a teacher who has the burden of seeing able-bodied and disabled people transformed through education. He is victim of myopathy and is 100 per cent disabled. He writes books to help parents in the education of children in the face of school violence, drug addiction, and homosexuality, depression… Not forgetting the new educational syllabus for which he has published two books – “Successful Education Of Children In The Face Of The Influence Of Society” and “You Will Be The Head.”
Trailblazing Record
Jeru-Informatik has already facilitated the training of six business leaders and the creation of 25 jobs. They have in turn helped in integrating applications which scored 100 per cent in the BTS national examination in Computer Graphics and Web Design. One of the ...
